Leonora works in our litigation team.
Leonora’s litigation work includes native title matters, advice to CATSI Act Corporations, Aboriginal Heritage matters including applications under the Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Heritage Protection Act 1983 (Cth), Stolen Generation claims, and National Redress Scheme for Institutional Child Sexual Abuse applications and civil claims. Leonora also has experience in the areas of family law, migration law and intellectual property.
Leonora strives to provide her clients with clear and practical advice to achieve excellent results in a timely and cost effective manner. Leonora has experience in complicated and challenging legal disputes and the management of major litigation.
She is also actively involved in the community and campaigns for law reform. Leonora is Vice President of the Women Lawyers Association of South Australia, co-chair of the Women Lawyers Committee of the Law Society of South Australia and a member of the Justice Access Committee of the Law Society of South Australia.
